Collagen (Hydrolysed)
Hydrolysed marine collagen, also known as 'Type 1', is made of peptides which come from fish and their scales. The process of hydrolysing it is intended to give it better absorption into the bloodstream. This type of collagen is also the most plentiful in the body, so it makes sense to use a supplement that contains the type you need the most. In addition, it is also more sustainable as it is sourced from parts of fish which are typically unused. Hydrolysed collagen is an anti-ageing supplement. Ash Extract (leaf)
As part of the Oleaceae family, the ash tree is cited in the French pharmacopoeia for its leaves which boast properties that are effective since they are:
– laxative and diuretic which helps reduce cellulite. Great to ingest together with a diet to enhance the evacuation of waste through urine.
– anti-inflammatory and antirhumatismal to soothe arthritis, arthrosis, and rheumatism. It’s also recommended to alleviate bouts of gout.
Guarana Extract (seed)
Guarana (Paullinia cupana) is a plant native to the Amazon. It is used for weight loss, to enhance athletic performance, as a stimulant, and to reduce mental and physical fatigue. Kola Extract (seed)
The kola nut is the fruit of the kola tree (Cola acuminata and Cola nitida), indigenous to West Africa. Kola nut powder and extract may help digestion. They are thought to promote the production of gastric acid, which increases digestive enzyme effectiveness in the stomach. The caffeine and theobromine in the kola nut may speed up the heart rate, which increases circulation.
